Features and Enhancements in HyWorks v3.6 Hotfix 1.1

Feature Integration:

  • No new core features added in this release.

  • Changes from Hotfix1 are merged into Hotfix1.1.

Enhancements

Optional DVM Tools Components

  • From the HyWorks Controller Management Console, admins can now install:

    • Accops Virtual Camera

    • HyPrint PDF Printer

    • Advanced Drive Redirection

  • These options were not configurable from the Controller in earlier versions.

  • Hotfix 1.1 also includes improved help text for more precise guidance.

Configurable AVD URLs

  • AVD URLs are now configurable under: HyWorks Controller Management Console > Settings > General Settings.

    Configurations available:

    • AVD Web URL

    • AVD Client Download Link for Windows

    • AVD Client Download Link for MAC OS

    • AVD Client Download Link for iOS

  • Earlier, URLs were fixed and required updates whenever Microsoft made changes.

Extended Power Options

  • Suspend on user logoff: Added support in addition to Restart and Shutdown.

  • Hibernate support: Enabled for VMs cloned via the Azure Image Gallery mechanism (not supported in the previous release).
