Session Host Server Prerequisites

To install the Accops HyWorks DVM Tools setup on a Windows desktop system, the following prerequisites must be met:

Hardware Requirements

Accops HyWorks DVM Tools can be installed on Windows machines, whether physical or virtual, with the following configuration:

Server Configurations:

  • Minimum 4 GB RAM

  • 2 vCPUs

  • 10 GB of free space on the installation disk for installation, dependencies, and post-installation management files.

Note

The server sizing should be based on expected user loads and profiles, including the types of applications and browser instances, etc.

Supported Operating Systems

Accops HyWorks DVM Tools can be installed on the following Windows OS:

  • Windows 11, Windows 11 25H2 (Please check known issue with Windows 11 25H2 in Release Notes > Known Issues In HyWorks > Dedicated Desktops > Detailed Information on Issues section > VDI62339).

  • Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)

  • Windows 10 Multi-Session (Azure)

  • Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)

  • Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit)

  • Windows Server 2025

  • Windows Server 2022

  • Windows Server 2019

  • Windows Server 2016

  • Windows Server 2012 R2

  • Windows Server 2008 R2-SP1

Note

Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit) requires additional prerequisites. Refer to the Windows security patch for more details on configuring the Gold image.

Other Software Requirements

HyPrint

The latest version of the HyWorks DVM Tools setup does not install the HyPrint module by default.

To install HyPrint:

  1. Select the option to install HyPrint during the installation process. A prompt will appear asking you to install the Ghost script separately.

    Note

    Installation will continue to happen in backend with prompt displayed in front. It does not hold the installation.

  2. Install and configure the Ghost script on the machine separately.

Advance Drive Redirection

"Advance Drive Redirection" module is not selected by default. It has to be selected for the installation of the module.

Important

Advance Drive Redirection installation requires Internet access for prerequisites download and installation.
