Publish and Deliver Linux Desktops from Linux SHD Servers in HyWorks

To create a Linux shared hosted desktops pools:

1. Go to VDI > Pools > click Add New Pool

2. In Add New Pool wizard, General screen:

   1. Give appropriate Name, Display Name and Description for the pool

   2. Select Entitlement Type as User-based or Device-based

   3. Select Desktop Pool Type as Shared Hosted Desktop

   4. Select Server Team as server team, where Linux Shared Session Hosts are added

   5. Select appropriate connection profile

   6. Set Remote Desktop Connection Port as being used by Linux VMs (Default is 3389).

   7. Keep the Active flag as checked and Maintenance Mode as unchecked for pool to be available for end-users.

3. In Users/Devices, add clients if required

4. Configure Classification Rules for restricting pool usage to classified client groups.

5. In Advanced tab, configure other details as required.

6. Virtual IP Address tab: Configure if needed (for quick start this can be kept unchanged).

7. Finish the Add New Pool wizard

Users or devices will now be able to access the published Linux Shared Hosted desktop pool.
