Built-in Directory Server and Local User Management - Overview

As briefly mentioned in the section on authentication and authorization servers, HyWorks supports workgroup-based environments using an in-built directory server.

It allows defining local users and groups in the HyWorks database for authentication and authorization.

Navigate to Users > User Store to Add, remove, or modify users or groups in this built-in directory.

The User Store section provides an administrator to manage the users to be used in the built-in directory.

It consists of the following two sub-sections:

• Local Users: For managing users.

• Local Groups: For managing groups.
