Overview

The announcements feature in HyWorks sends notifications to the end users.

These announcement notifications are displayed as follows:

• On the HyWorks client screen (Displayed with a bell icon)
• On the dashboard (for HyLabs users)

HyWorks supports the following types of announcements:

• Audit Announcements: This announcement allows users to continue accessing HyWorks only after acknowledging the displayed message. Audit announcements are shown at login.
• Maintenance Announcement: These announcements inform the user about critical server maintenance. Maintenance announcements are shown after login and have a higher weightage than General announcements on the default display order at user endpoints.
• General Announcements: General purpose announcements for end-users are displayed after logging into HyWorks. The display priority is lower than Maintenance announcements.
