HyWorks supports the following types of Windows virtual desktops and virtual applications:

1. Pooled Virtual Application. Click to check supported versions.

2. Pooled Virtual Desktop. Click to check supported versions.

3. Personal Virtual Desktop. Click to check supported versions.

Deliver Windows Dedicated Virtual Desktops (DVDs)

Follow the below-given steps to deliver Windows DVDs:

1. HyWorks supports personal desktop delivery from virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft) and Cloud services (Azure, AWS, Oracle). Considering the platforms are prepared and added to HyWorks as Connectors, Links to prepare specific connectors as per deployment need and infrastructure availability are provided below:

   1. Virtualization Platforms: VMWare ESXi/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V/SCVMM, Nutanix Prism Element / Central

   2. Cloud Services: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Beta), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (Beta)

2. Create a Windows VM to be used as a Gold image or source.

3. Perform basic HyWorks configuration for personal desktop delivery.

4. Deliver Dedicated Desktops to the end-users using the specified simple steps.

Deliver Windows SHD and Applications

1. Prepare Windows Session Host Server.

   1. Install Windows server on a virtual machine or physical hardware.

   2. Configure the machine into the domain or workgroup as per your requirement.

   3. Install HyWorks Session Host module .

2. Perform basic HyWorks configuration.

3. Configure HyWorks for the Pooled Virtual Desktop Delivery and Pooled Virtual Application Delivery
