Supported OS Versions
HyWorks supports different types of delivery mechanisms. This page indicates the list of supported Platform / OS versions for each.
Pooled Virtual Applications
HyWorks can be used to virtualize and deliver applications to end-users from both Windows and Linux platforms. Supported Windows and Linux servers (and versions) are listed here:

Note
Sometimes, multiple connections to Windows Server 2022 or the latest Windows 2019 do not work. This can be resolved using the steps provided in the article HyWorks — 3.4 Webhelp > Knowledge Base Articles Resolve Unable to Connect Multiple Users on Windows 2022.
Linux - Pooled Apps

- The platforms listed are supported only with the v3.4-SP2 Linux packages.
- The v3.6 Linux Dependency Packages and DVM Tools are currently under General Availability (GA) release preparation. The list of supported platforms will be updated accordingly once the release is finalized.

Important
- HyWorks only supports operating system versions with point 0/1 that use a non-HWE (Hardware Enablement) kernel. Versions with an HWE kernel are not supported.
- Ensure that you install only versions with point 0/1. Installing any other version may lead to package or tool installation issues, resulting in failure to deliver applications or desktop environments.
Pooled Virtual Desktops
This is referred to as Shared Hosted Desktop (SHD). HyWorks can virtualize and deliver shared hosted desktops from Linux and Windows servers to end-users. Supported Windows and Linux servers (and versions) are listed here:

Personal Virtual Desktops
This is also referred to as a Dedicated Desktop. HyWorks can be used to virtualize and deliver personal desktops to end-users. These personal virtual desktops can be Windows or Linux-based. Personal virtual desktop deliveries can be done from the following hypervisors:

Nutanix AHV v20230302.102001 (AOS 6.10) and Prism Central v2024.2.0.3 have issues affecting the following features. HyWorks v3.6-Hotfix-1.1 has been released and is recommended to used.

52140: The Clone from the snapshot does not work with Nutanix-Prism Central. The features affected are Clone from Snapshot and Graceful Recompose.

52146: Restore points are not getting created with Nutanix-Prism central v2024.2.0.3. Affected features: Non-persistent desktops.

52326: A cloned VM fails to auto-power on with Gold Master having TPM enabled. Affected features: Customization post-provisioning.

39582: HyWorks Controller is unable to detect vTPM-enabled Windows 10/11 VMs from Nutanix PE. This works fine with Nutanix Prism Central.
