Overview

This document contains the release notes for HyWorks v3.6-Hotfix1. This release includes enhancements and bug fixes to improve quality, reliability, and performance.

Important

  • The documentation for v3.6+ is currently being developed and will be released soon. The management console features new updates and UI changes that might not be fully covered in the older documentation for v3.4-SP1-HF6 or earlier.
  • Modules such as Scheduler, Action Processor, and VM Scale Booster are not backward compatible and will not work with older versions of HyWorks Controller. The latest version should be paired with a Controller from the same series.
  • Older versions of agent modules (HyWorks DVM Tools for Windows, Session Host Windows, Linux DVM Tools) are compatible with this v3.6 Controller.
  • The v3.6 series HyWorks DVM Tools for Windows and Session Host Server are now available with v3.6-HF1.

HyWorks Components

Important

  • Integrated AUEM v3.6.0.421 in Session Host Server(v3.6-HF1: v3.6.0.150) and DVM Tools(v3.6-HF1: v3.6.0.1305) releases are experiencing a critical bug identified, which is removing the mapped network drives.

    • Use this build only if it’s very critical and the deployment does not use mapped network drives.

    • Please see Known Issues: #57343 for more details.

    • Build with fix (DVM Tools v3.6.0.1314 and Session Host Server v3.6.0.153) is released, superseding this release and is recommended to be used.

Upgrade Compatibility

  • The v3.6-Hotfix1 patch can be applied to HyWorks Controllers running v3.6.
