Session Management Overview

Accops HyWorks is a comprehensive solution for delivering virtual desktops (both personal and shared) and virtual applications to end-users. It efficiently manages the following session types:

  1. User Session: A user session begins when an end-user logs into HyWorks and ends when they log out completely. This session encompasses authentication, resource allocation, and session monitoring.

  2. Desktop Session: A desktop session can be either personal (dedicated) or shared (multi-session). It starts when a user selects a virtual desktop from the client portal and continues until the session is fully logged off from the remote server. HyWorks oversees session initiation, resource allocation, and session termination.

  3. Virtual Application Session: Similar to desktop sessions, a virtual application session begins when a user launches a published application via the client portal. HyWorks manages the session lifecycle until the application is closed or the session is logged off from the remote server. Session Management Scope
