IP Address Pools
Overview
On HySecure Gateway, when a user connects to it and tries to access a published application, the source IP which gets used is the Gateway IP. However, for better auditing purpose, a unique IP is expected to be used for connection with the published application. To achieve this, an IP Address Pool can be configured for users of a User Group which get authorized from the Authorization server attached to a HySecure Domain .
As a result, when different users try to access the same published application, they use different virtual IP Address while connecting to the application. The IP address from the pool can also be statically assigned to a user so that whenever s/he tries to connect to the application s/he uses the same IP address across different logins.
