Access Filters

Access Filters are objects which define the time restrictions by specifying the timezone along with the start time and end time. These objects can then be attached to Access Control policies so that those policies get applied as per the associated Access Filter objects. As a result, the user access to the applications are restricted as per the attached Access Filter object.

Access Filter List

To get the list of configured Access Filters, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Management console and expand RESOURCES
  2. Select Access Filters from the sub menu
  3. List of configured Access Filters will be displayed on this page in a tabular manner with their names displayed

Search Access Filter List

In case there are a large number of Access Filters configured, then the list can be filtered for one or more Access Filters by specifying the comma separated names in the "Search Access Filters" text box and clicking "Show" button.

Add Access Filter

An Access Filter can be configured by clicking the Add button on the Add Access Filter page. Enter the information needed for creating the Access Filter.

1 Access Filter Name Enter a logical name to define the Access Filter object.
2 Time Zone Specify the Time Zone for which the the start time and end time to be configured will get applied
3 Start Time Specify the start Hour and Minute by specifying it in the drop down list
4 End Time Specify the end Hour and Minute by specifying it in the drop down list

Click Submit to create access filter or click on Reset to clear all data in the screen. A success message will confirm the created of the Access Filter.

Modify Access Filter

  1. On the Access Filters page, select the Access Filter which needs to be modified.
  2. Click on the Modify button. The Modify Access Filter screen appears. Modify the access filter data as needed. Note that the Access Filter name cannot be modified.
  3. Click Submit to save changes or click Reset to clear all data from the screen.

Deleting Access Filter

To delete a configured "Access Filter", select the particular Access Filter object(s) and click on Delete button. On confirming, all the selected object(s) will get deleted.
