User Based Report

The User Based Report can be generated either for a single user or all users of the realm i.e the HySecure Domain. The report provides details on the applications accessed by the user, last session details etc.

Keywords Used In Reports

The User reports generated will use various keywords. Each of these keywords is explained in the table below so as to have better clarity on the content's of the report.

# Keyword Description
1 Session If a user logs in and logs out after some time then this whole incident is called as session.
2 Session Count Numbers of distinct sessions
3 Active Time Time period during which user was accessing some application and working
4 Total Session Duration (Logout time – Login time). In other words, summation of active time and time when user was sitting idle and not accessing any application
5 Total Active Time Summation of active time for a user for the report duration
6 Total Session Time Summation of total session duration for a user for the report duration
7 Last Access Time Time stamp when user accessed an application for the last time
8 Access Count No. of times a user has accessed any application

Generating User Based Reports

On-demand User Based reports can be generated by following the steps:

  1. Go to Management console and expand REPORTS AND ALERTS
  2. Click on User Based Report sub-menu

  1. Select the duration and User ID for whom you want to generate the report. The report can be generated for even all the users of a Realm i.e. the HySecure Domain

  2. Select the type of data to be shown in the report. The table below describe each of the available selection types

# Type of Data To Be Shown Description
1 User Session Information Summary Selecting this type will generate a report containing the details of session count, active time, total active time and total session time for a user/all users.
2 User Session Information Selecting this type will generate a report containing summarized information as described for the "User Session Information Summary" type and in addition will also contain login and logout timings for each session.
3 Application Access Details Selecting this type will generate a report providing the information about application access count for any application and last access time for all the application user or all users
4 Device Usage Details(WAN IP) Selecting this type will generate a report providing the information about the device WAN IP from which user has logged in and provide the number of times user has logged in from a WAN IP.
5 Device Usage Details(Device IP) This type will help generate a report containing information about the device local IP address from which user has logged in and provide the number of times user has logged in from a local IP address.
6 Device Usage Details(MAC ID) This type will help generate a report containing information about the device Mac address from which user has logged in and provide the number of times user has logged in from a Mac address.
7 Full User Report Selecting this type will help generate a report containing all the details specified above in a single report. Currently, this is supported for one user at a time.

  1. Select the listing either in a "Day-wise" form or a "Month-wise" form

  2. Select the format of the report to be either a csv form OR in a pdf form

  3. Click Submit
