Standalone setup (Deprecated)

This section describes the steps to upgrade HySecure standalone setup.

To upgrade HySecure standalone gateway, follow these main steps:

1. Login as security officer.
2. Go to "HySecure Gateway State" page under "HySecure STATUS" section and put the HySecure gateway in "Configuration Mode". Note: after this step, all active user connections to this gateway node will be disconnected.
3. Go to "Upgrade Firmware" page under "Host Maintenance" Section.
4. Select option Firmware Upgrade and upload the HySecure Upgrade patch file. It may take 15 minutes or more to upload the upgrade patch based on network bandwidth between your PC and Gateway.
5. Once the upgrade file is uploaded and upgrade patch is started, the message will be displayed on the browser. In some cases, the message may not come on the management console. Refresh the browser and see if the upgrade has completed.
6. HySecure Gateway will automatically reboot once the patch is successfully applied.
7. Re-login as Security Officer and verify new version from HySecure dash board.
8. Go to "Upgrade Firmware" page under "Host Maintenance" Section and click the View Logs button to check the patch installation logs. Verify the logs and make sure that everything is OK.
9. Change HySecure state to RUN state.
