Installation on Hyper-v

Accops HySecure can be installed on Microsoft Hyper-V by creating a VM image using the HySecure ISO. The created VM can then be loaded on to Hyper-V.

1. Open the Hyper-V manager and use the option New > Virtual Machine to start the wizard to create a New Virtual Machine.

   

2. Click Next to create a VM with custom configuration.

   

3. Enter a name for the Virtual Machine and change the default folder to store this new VM if required.

   

4. Click Next and select the option Generation 1 to support 32-bit and 64-bit Guest OS.

   

5. Click Next and select 1024 MB as the Startup memory for this VM.

   

6. Click Next and select the appropriate network adaptor.

   

7. Click Next and create a virtual hard disk by providing the values for its name, location and size.

   

8. Click Next. Select Install an Operating System from a bootable CD/DVD-ROM and provide the path of the HySecure ISO file.

   

9. Click Next. Verify summary and click Finish.

   

10. Click Finish.

The virtual machine should now be available to be loaded and can be powered on.
