About Authentication Management

The Auth Management section is focused on configuring "Authentication Domain" which specifies the server(s) to be used for user authentication and authorization. The Authentication servers which can be integrated could be AD/LDAP servers, RADIUS Servers or through SAML Identity Provider. HySecure also supports local user database, also called Native servers, through which the user can be authenticated and/or authorized.

A Self Service Portal can also be configured as part of the "Authentication Domain" through which the HySecure users who are authenticated/authorized using AD/LDAP, can create their own profile which will help them reset or recover their AD password.

The Self Service Portal also helps HySecure administrator control how strongly users need to authenticate to reset their passwords. The authentication mechanisms include PIN authentication, security questions, email & mobile no. verification and OTP sent to registered email ID or mobile phone.
