How To Enable Log File For HySecure Windows Client

This article gives you how to enable log file for HySecure windows client. If windows client is not working properly then user can create the log file on his/her machine and do the windows client login and application access activity. Then send it to support team for basic investigation.

Steps for how to enable log for One Gate windows client

If user want to enable windows client log user need to do following steps.

After log file is created log will be generated and user can see the log or send it to support team. By default windows client log is disable. It is recommended that user should disable log file. Otherwise it will take space of your machine.
1. Go to RUN.
Go to windows desktop and open RUN window (press Windows + R). And type "notepad %temp%\uaclog.log".
2. Save the file.
Click on save button and save the log file.

3. Run the windows client.
Now run the windows client, if client was running and close the client and again run the client. From now windows client log will start creating. It will save "temp" location. User can get the log file from "%temp%"location. All activity now logged into uaclog file.
4. Take the uaclog file.
Go to RUN window and type "%temp%", then press enter button. It will open \AppData\Local\Temp window. Here you can search uaclog.log file. Open this file and can see the windows client log.
Otherwise open RUN window and type "notepad %temp%\uaclog.log" and press enter button. It will directly open client log file. User can save this log file into desktop or other location and send it to support .
