Device Management

Overview

When a user logs in to HySecure gateway from an endpoint, it shares the various parameters of the endpoint, as indicated in the Device ID based Access Control Policy. In case the Device ID based Access Control policy is applied for the HySecure domain on which the user logs on to, the device is registered and is listed on this Device Management page under ENDPOINT MANAGEMENT. .

As part of the Device Details page, following actions can be performed by the Administrator on the registered devices

  1. If the automatic approval of devices is not set in the Device ID type of Access Control Policy, then on the first logon, the device entry gets listed here. The device can be approved by selecting it and clicking the "Allow" button or it can be blocked as well by selecting the device and clicking the "Block" button.
  2. An earlier blocked device can also be allowed at a later point in time by selecting the device and clicking the "Allow" button.
  3. The device entry can be deleted to perform cleanup activity.
  4. List the details of the devices which have logged in atleast once and were allowed or blocked.
  5. Download the list of registered devices in a csv format

Note

The device gets registered on the first login, in absence of any existing registration entry.
