This section in release notes, provides the details of new features and enhancements in HyWorks v3.3-GA hot-fix2 release.

Hyper-V Connector v3.3.0.117 Release

New Hyper-V Connector v3.3.0.117 is released as part of Hot-fix2 and having following changes:

Support for SCVMM 2019:
- Connector can be installed on SCVMM 2019 and all features supported with SCVMM 2016 will be supported with SCVMM 2019.
Improvisations:
- Backend functions to read VM properties from Hyper-V or SCVMM servers have been improved.
- Improvements in functions to get detailed information and basic information of VMs from Hyper-V or SCVMM servers.

Hotfix-2 patch is released to be installed on HyWorks Controller with the following changes:

Disabling selection of Source VM with unsupported special characters
- In previous releases, it was possible to select Source VM that included special characters in its name for cloning even when those special characters were not supported. Due to this cloning failed. From this release onwards, it will not be possible to select Source VM that includes unsupported special characters in its name and will display error.
- Following special characters are not supported in Source VM Name:
  - Hyper-V : Star(*), Question Mark(?), colon(:), Less than(<),Greater than(>), Backward slash(\),Bar(|), forward slash(/), Quotes(\", \'), curly braces, Square bracket([,])
  - SCVMM : Space, Star(*), Question Mark(?), colon(:), Less than(<),Greater than(>), Backward slash(\),Bar(|), forward slash(/), Quotes(\", \'), curly braces
Disabling selection of Snapshot with unsupported special characters
- In previous releases, it was possible to select Checkpoint that included special character in tis name even when those special characters were not supported. Due to this cloning failed. From this release onwards it will not be possible to select Checkpoint that includeds unsupported special characters in its name will display error.
- Following special characters are not supported in Source VM Name:
  - Back-tick(`),ampersand(&), Backward slash(\), Quotes(\", \')

Concurrent Clone (Hyper-V): From this version onwards, one can perform multiple cloning operations simultaneously. You can configure number of concurrent operations and on initiating more cloning operations than specified, controller will keep them in queue and will execute as per provided option. This can be modified as per Hyper-V capabilities. Default value is 1.
Update DVMs at One Go: Previously controller was trying to fetch details of all VMs at a time and now is being done in configurable group size.

Enable IP Address Filter option is moved from Extended to Advanced screen on Add/Edit Desktop Pool wizard.
