SMTP Configuration
SMTP server needs to be configured to enable HyWorks Controller to send email alerts (e.g. Backup emails) to configured email Ids.
SMTP configuration in HyWorks Controller requires, HyWorks Controller to connect to SMTP server otherwise emails cannot be sent.
Configure SMTP server

Go to Host Management > System > SMTP Config

SMTP Server: Specify hostname or IP address of the SMTP Server

Connection Type: Select connection method between SMTP client and server from None StartTLS, SSL/TLS

SMTP Port: Specify a port on which the SMTP server is to be connected

Enable SMTP Authentication: Select if the authentication is required before sending an email.

SMTP Username, SMTP Password, Confirm Password: Specify user name to be used to send emails in the format as username@domain.com and password for the user.

SMTP Email Sender: Specify email address of the sender in the format as username@domain.com.

Test email address: Specify the email address to whom the test email should be sent.

Click Send Test Mail to send a test email.

Click Save to save the SMTP configuration.
Once the SMTP configuration is done successfully, HyWorks can use these settings to send e-mail notifications to the configured Administrators.
Currently HyWorks supports e-mail notifications for the following configurations:

HyWorks Controller backup: Administrators can schedule a periodic backup along with e-mail notifications to get the Controller backup file over e-mail.
