Overview

HyWorks Controller is the core component of HyWorks VDI environment and with unavailability of HyWorks Controller entire VDI environment will be down. Thus, in a production environment it is very critical to keep HyWorks Controller always up and functioning.

Configure two HyWorks Controllers in cluster to maintain availability of HyWorks Controllers from Server > HyWorks Controller.

HyWorks Controller clustering provides following benefits:

1. High Availability of HyWorks Controller - New session can be provided from second HyWorks Controller when first HyWorks Controller is down

2. Load balancing of user load and session management for large scale deployment

3. Common license for both HyWorks Controllers

4. Running sessions won't get disconnected

5. Continuous synchronization between member HyWorks Controllers
