Alert Manager
The Alert Manager module generates alerts when gateway resources exceed configured thresholds. Alerts can be generated for high CPU, RAM, HDD, Swap space usage, and high license utilization.

Log on to the Management Console.

Go to Settings > Logs > Alert Manager.

The page displays the current state of the Alert Manager module as Running or Stopped. Toggle to change the state.
Configurations
This section provides information on how to configure the Alert Manager.
Global Settings
This section defines the core settings for the Alert Manager module. The resource and threshold-related configuration is set under the Alert Settings.

| Alert Title Prefix | Indicates the specific email notifications prefix that can also be used to identify the HySecure cluster identifier. |
| Resource Monitoring Recurrence (secs) (Rate at which resource usage should be checked) | Indicates the time interval in seconds during which the system checks the usage of each resource. |
Alert Settings
This section is used to configure resource thresholds for sending email alerts.

| Resource Type | Set up individual configurations for each resource type, such as CPU, Disk, or Syncing Services, to receive alerts when they exceed a set threshold. |
| Enable | Check this option for each Resource Type to generate alerts. |
| Threshold Value (%) (Note: Not shown when Syncing Services are selected) |
Set the alert threshold as a percentage of total capacity for each Resource Type. For example, an alert email will be triggered per subsequent configuration if the disk usage exceeds 80% of its total capacity. |
| Alert Reoccurrence (mins) | This setting specifies the frequency of alerts for a particular resource in minutes. For example, if a resource exceeds its threshold and remains above it, an alert will be triggered every configured number of minutes until the issue is resolved. |
| Severity | Choose the severity level from High, Medium, and Low. |
| Alert Title | When sending an email alert, the text in this configuration will be used as a prefix in the subject of the alert. |
| Save messages in file (AlertLog) | Enable to record the alerts in the log file. |
| Send an Email | Select this option to receive alerts via email. |
| To all Admin Users | Select this option to send alerts via email to all HySecure administrator users. |
| To all Security Officers | Select this option to send alerts via email to all Security Officer users. |
| To all additional Users (Specify email list separated by “;”) | Enter the additional email IDs. |
Click Submit to complete the configuration.
