How to Upgrade to HySecure Gateway Version 7.0

How to Install HySecure Gateway Version 7.0

HySecure Gateway version 7.0 can be installed using any of the following methods:

1. Install on any x86-based hardware using the HySecure Gateway version 7.0 ISO.

2. Install using the HySecure Gateway version 7.0 ISO on any virtual machine.

3. Install on major cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Mandatory Configuration for Enabling Turbo

The Turbo module must be registered with the OS as a trusted module. This can be done by enrolling in a Machine Owner Key (MOK) at least once (for each cluster node). The MOK can be enrolled during pre-boot or while booting up the OS. For steps to enrol in the MOK, please contact the Support team.

To bypass this enrollment requirement, disable “Secure Boot” during VM creation. This configuration is disabled by default when creating the VM in Hyper-V, but is enabled by default in VMware.

Note

When disabling the Secure Boot configuration, the admin must exercise careful judgment.
