Standalone setup (Deprecated)

This section describes the steps to upgrade the HySecure standalone setup.

To upgrade the HySecure standalone gateway, follow the steps below:

1. Log in as a Security Officer.

2. Navigate to Settings > Services Config > Gateway State and put the HySecure gateway to Configuration State.

   Note

   After this step, all the active user connections to this gateway node will be disconnected.

3. Navigate to the Upgrade Firmware page under the Host Maintenance section.

4. Select Firmware Upgrade and upload the HySecure Upgrade patch file. It may take 15 minutes or more to upload the upgrade patch based on the network bandwidth between your PC and Gateway.

5. Once the upgrade file is uploaded and the upgrade patch is started, the message will be displayed on the browser. In some cases, the message may not come on the management console. Refresh the browser and see if the upgrade is complete.

6. HySecure Gateway will automatically reboot once the patch is successfully applied.

7. Re-login as a Security Officer and verify the new version from the HySecure dashboard.

8. Navigate to the Upgrade Firmware page under the Host Maintenance section and click the View Logs button to check the patch installation logs. Verify the logs and make sure that everything is OK.

9. Change the HySecure state to the RUN state.
