Bypass HySecure Client files in local antivirus
Problem Statement: The Client cannot connect to the HySecure gateway and is blocked by the antivirus.
Solution: Whitelist the files in the HySecure Client working directory in the local antivirus (AV).
Add HySecure Client file to AV Exclusion list
Antivirus and security software may sometimes block Accops HySecure client files, processes, and executables, restricting connectivity between the HySecure Agent and Server. To resolve the issue, an admin should add Accops client files to be excluded from Antivirus Scanning or added to the trusted files.
Prerequisite
- Admin privileges will be required to make the suggested changes.
Step to whitelist HySecure Client files
-
Add the files present in the directory to the antivirus exception list:
- Directory Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Accops HySecure Client
Sr. No. File Name 1 Accops2FAEx.dll 2 BioSec2FAEx.dll 3 RuleDigest.txt 4 WatermarkHelper.dll 5 mfc120u.dll 6 pvpnadmmgr.exe 7 vfvpnfltinstall.dll 8 AccopsFPVFramework.dll 9 EDCLaunch.exe 10 SecurePutty.exe 11 cpprest120_2_9.dll 12 ntlmsso.dll 13 pvpnadmmgr.exe.manifest 14 AccopsWatermark.exe.config 15 EDCWatermark.exe 16 Turbo/Turbo.exe 17 Turbo/wg.exe 18 desktop.ico 19 ntlmssov2.dll 20 uninst.exe 21 AppControlx32.exe 22 EDCWatermark.exe.config 23 Turbo-amd64.msi epslib.dll 24 pe_x32.dll 25 vFVPNClientExe.exe 26 AppControlx64.exe 27 FPVFramework.dll 28 USBCleaner.exe 29 hyResource_jp.dll 30 pe_x64.dll 31 vFVPNClientExe.exe.manifest 32 BioFaceCapture.dll 33 ProgateViewer.exe 34 VPNClientLauncher.exe 35 logo-big.png 36 pgSas.exe 37 vFVPNService.exe
Once the HySecure Client files are whitelisted to bypass the local AV scanning, the Client should work as expected.
