Workflow

The cluster setup workflow involves setting up different nodes in the order indicated below:

1. Set up an Active Load Balancer node, which will also act as a HySecure Gateway. A cluster is created while configuring this node. It involves:

   1. Installation and Network and System Configuration.

   2. Registration, enrollment, and log-in using the enrolled SO.

   3. Creation of a cluster and configuration of:

      1. The node as an Active Load Balancer Node (also HySecure Gateway)

      2. NTP

      3. All the other nodes that are anticipated to be part of the cluster.

2. Set up Backup Load Balancer node, if high availability of load balancing is needed. This node will also act as a HySecure Gateway. This node joins the cluster as part of its configuration.

   Important

   Installation and configuration of this node should be initiated only after the Active Load Balancer is up and running.

3. Set up VPN/Gateway/Real nodes on different hosts, as per the requirements. All these nodes join the cluster as part of their configuration.
