Overview
This document outlines the fixes and enhancements provided in the HySecure Gateway 5.4 Service Pack 5 and how to apply the service pack on the HySecure Gateway.

Important
- Gateway will restart when you apply the service pack, so plan for the downtime and schedule the upgrade during non-peak hours. Once the service pack is applied on the active node, it will restart and join the cluster as a standby node, and the standby node will become active.
- The NTP Server must be configured, and NTP services must be running on all the nodes.
- Ensure that the HySecure and Syncing services are running on all the nodes. Verify this from the dashboard's HySecure Management Console.
- The license should be active on the gateway before applying the hotfix.

How to apply Service Pack
This section outlines the procedure to upgrade the HySecure cluster gateway.
Upgrading HySecure Cluster
The section describes the detailed process to apply a service pack on HySecure Cluster having three nodes (Active, Standby, and Real Gateway server):
To upgrade the HySecure cluster, follow these main steps:

Upgrade the HySecure Real Node

Upgrade the HySecure Standby Cluster Manager Node

Upgrade the HySecure Active Cluster Manager Node
Upgrading Real HySecure Cluster Node
- Connect to Real HySecure Cluster node as Security Officer. Make sure to connect using the actual IP address of the Real node and not the virtual IP address.
- Log in as a Security Officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and enable maintenance mode.
- Go to Settings > General Settings > Firmware Upgrade, select the upgrade file type as a Service Pack, and upload the pack file. Depending on the network bandwidth between your PC and Gateway, uploading the patch may take 30 minutes or more.
- Once the service pack is uploaded and the upgrade has started, the message will be displayed on the browser. In some cases, the message may not come on the Management console. Refresh the browser and see if the upgrade has been completed.
- After the service pack is applied, the gateway will restart automatically.
- Log in again, go to Settings > General Settings > Upgrade Firmware, and click View Logs to check the upgrade patch installation logs.
Upgrading Standby HySecure Cluster Manager Node
Connect to Standby HySecure Cluster Manager node as Security Officer. Make sure to connect using the actual IP address of the Standby node and not the virtual IP address. 2. Disabling Maintenance Mode in Active Node

- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and disable maintenance mode.
Disabling Maintenance Mode in Standby Node
- Connect to Standby HySecure Cluster Manager node as Security Officer. Do not connect using a Virtual IP Address; use the actual IP of the Standby node.
- Log in as a Security Officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and disable maintenance mode.
Disabling Maintenance Mode in Real Node
- Connect to Real HySecure node as Security Officer. Do not connect using a Virtual IP Address; use the actual IP Address of the real node.
- Log in as a Security Officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and disable maintenance mode.
