How to install
HySecure 5.4.5427 can be installed using following methods:
- Install on any virtual machine using HySecure 5.4.5427 ISO
- Install on any x86 based hardware using HySecure 5.4.5427 ISO
For installation on a public cloud, refer to market place images and installation instructions specific to cloud installations.

Appendix A: Upgrading Hysecure Cluster
The section describes the detailed process to apply hotfix on HySecure Cluster having three nodes (Active, Standby and Real Gateway server).
Note
Before upgrading SP1(5230) cluster setup, MariaDB upgrade hotfix( AHS-HF-5230-GU6046) must
be applied on each cluster node
To upgrade HySecure cluster, follow these main steps:
- Upgrade the HySecure Real Node
- Upgrade the HySecure Standby Cluster Manger Node
- Upgrade the HySecure Active Cluster Manger Node
Upgrading Real HySecure Cluster Node
- Connect to Real HySecure Cluster node as Security Officer. Make sure to connect using the actual IP address of the Real node and not the virtual IP address.
- Log in as Security officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and enable maintenance mode.
- Go to Settings > Service Config > Gateway State and and change state to Configuration state.
- Go to settings > General Settings > Firmware Upgrade and select upgrade file type as Firmware upgrade and upload the HySecure upgrade patch file. It may take 15 minutes or more to upload the patch based on network bandwidth between your PC and Gateway.
- Once the upgrade patch file is uploaded and upgrade has started, the message will be displayed on the browser. In some cases, the message may not come on the Management console. Refresh the browser and see if the upgrade has completed.
- After the upgrade patch is applied, you will be logged out.
- Log in again and go to Settings > General Settings > Upgrade Firmware and click View Logs to check the upgrade patch installation logs.
Upgrading Standby Hysecure Cluster Manager Node
- Connect to Standby HySecure Cluster Manager node as Security Officer. Make sure to connect using the actual IP address of the Standby node and not the virtual IP address.
- Log in as Security officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and enable maintenance mode.
- Go to Settings > Service Config > Gateway State and and change state to Configuration state.
- Go to settings > General Settings > Firmware Upgrade and select upgrade file type as Firmware upgrade and upload the HySecure upgrade patch file. It may take 15 minutes or more to upload the patch based on network bandwidth between your PC and Gateway.

Disabling Maintenance Mode in Active Node
- Connect to Active HySecure Cluster Manager node as Security Officer. Do not connect using Virtual IP Address, use the actual IP of Active node.
- Login as security officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and disable maintenance mode.
Disabling Maintenance Mode in Standby Node
- Connect to Standby HySecure Cluster Manager node as Security Officer. Do not connect using Virtual IP Address, use the actual IP of Standby node.
- Login as security officer.
- Go to High Availability > HA enable/disable and disable maintenance mode.
Disabling Maintenance Mode in Real Node
- Connect to Real HySecure node as Security Officer. Do not connect using Virtual IP Address, use the actual IP of real node.
- Login as security officer.
- Go to Settings > Cluster > Manage and disable maintenance mode.
