New Role to manage Registered Devices

A new user role “L1 support user” is added that has the previleges to manage devices registered in HySecure gateway along with the previleges of a user with “Monitor” role. Previleges include:

  • Monitor Dashboard
  • Monitor and export Active users, Turbo active users and Remote meeting users.
  • Monitor and export Registered users
  • Monitor, export, and manage Registered devices
  • Monitor and download reports and logs
  • Download archived logs

Device Mapping

Till now, an option was available to enforce device approval for every user logging in through the same device.

From this version onwards, an option “mapping of device for each user” is provided. If this option is disabled and the device approval is also not enforced, then the device will not get listed in the device list.

This option is available in Settings > Global > Server. By default, this is always enabled.

Alternate Domain User Validation for Service Account for HyID Client Logins

Till now, for a service account for example, an admin user, whose credentials are usually shared with different members of say IT team, it was difficult to identify the actual member who had logged in via HyID client. To have better visibility, an option is “Validate using alternate domain user” is provided.

When enabled, the user will be required to provide credentials for the alternate domain so that the actual identity of the user with service account’s credentials, is recorded in HyID logs.

Configurable Mobile Token Reuse in HyID Desktop Agent Policy

Till now, an option was available to re-use mobile token, only in case of HyID policy. From this release onwards, it is also provided for the HyID Desktop Agent Policy.
