Customize Portal

Overview

The HySecure Gateway can be logged on to through the browser also. The portal used to login to the Gateway can be customized. To customize the portal, perform the following steps

  1. Open the management console and expand RESOURCES

  2. Click on Customize Portal to configure the Web Portal for your environment.

  3. Information under different blocks is explained below and can be used to customize the portal and other related stuff.

Customize Theme

Field Description
Theme This indicates a "Default Theme" and is not editable.
Title Specify the title for the portal page
Company Name Set the company name which is expected to be displayed on portal pages
Message for Users Set a message to be shown to users on portal at the time of login. You can set messages related to important events here.
Message for Inner Portal Set a message to be shown to users on portal after s/he logs in. The message gets displayed on the left panel after login. Typically this will be authorization warning.
Show Copyright Check this option to enable display of copyright message at the bottom of the page.
Show \'HySecure Client Download\' option Check this option to show the download links for clients for desktops on the login portal.
Show \'Change Password\' Check this option to provide change password option on the portal to users. Click on submit to confirm customization changes.

Edit web portal HTML files (Advanced Users Only)

The portal can be customized by either selecting specific options as indicated in the "Customize Theme" configuration block. However, in case, the admin needs to have a complete control on the page, s/he can edit the html files directly by clicking the "Edit web portal HTML files". HTML files of following pages can be edited directly by the administrator:

  1. Login Page

  2. Logout Page

  3. Landing Page

Follow the steps for editing and updating the html code for the needed pages.

  1. Select the appropriate page in the Select File To edit drop down and click on "Submit" button. This will load the html code for the selected page in the editor.

  2. Edit the code as desired.

  3. Perform either of the following options available by clicking on the corresponding button:

    1. Preview: Click on this button to preview the html code currently written in the editor.

    2. Save:

    3. Cancel: Click on this button to reset the unsaved changes. Thus it will take theeditor back to the last saved version of the code.

    4. Reset to default: Click this button to revert the code to factory default code.

    5. Edit CSS: Click on this button to override the current CSS.

The logo which appears on the top left corner of the login page can be changed through this block. To do so, choose the png file from the local system with dimensions around 180x40 and click on "Submit" button.

In case, the default logo needs to be switched back to, click on "Reset to default" button.

The Desktop client logo can be changed from this block. To do so, choose the bmp file from the local system using the "Choose File" button and open it. The logo should have dimensions aroung 180x40. Click on "Submit" button to change the logo to the chosen file.

In case, the default logo needs to be switched back to, click on "Reset to default" button.

Desktop client banner

The Desktop client banner can be changed from this block. To do so, choose the bmp file with dimensions around 373x85, from the local system using the "Choose File" button and open it. Click on "Submit" button to change the banner to the chosen file.

In case, the default banner needs to be switched back to, click on "Reset to default" button.

Note

None of the chosen files for the logo or banner should exceed 500 KB
