Install Nutanix Guest Tools
Install Nutanix Guest tools on the VMs that will be delivered as dedicated desktops to better manage the Nutanix-based resources.
Pre-requisites
-
The supported version of Nutanix Prism Central or Prism Elements has already been installed and configured. Port 9440, used to connect Nutanix servers, should be reachable.
-
A user account with the required privileges on Nutanix servers. The user must have permission to read all VM information, create and delete resource pools, and create and delete virtual machines.
If the configured user does not have enough privileges, the process of getting desktop details may fail, and power operations and provisioning might be affected.
