Built-in Directory Server and Local User Management - Overview

As mentioned briefly in the section on authentication and authorization servers, HyWorks supports workgroup-based environments using in-built directory server, where local users and groups can be defined in the HyWorks database and can be used for authentication or authorization.

Add, remove, or modify users or groups in this built-in directory from the section Users > User Store.

The user Store section provides an administrator to manage the users to be used in the built-in directory.

The user store section consists of the following two sub-sections:

• Local Users: For managing users

• Local Groups: For managing groups
