Overview

The Announcements feature in HyWorks is a way of sending notifications to the end users.

These announcement notifications will be displayed:

• On the HyWorks client screen (Displayed with a bell icon)
• On the dashboard (for HyLabs users)

HyWorks supports the following types of announcements:

• Audit Announcement: This announcement will allow the user to continue accessing HyWorks only after acknowledging the displayed message. Audit announcements are shown at login.
• Maintenance Announcement: These are the announcements that inform the user about critical server maintenance. Maintenance announcements are shown after login and have a higher weightage than General announcements on the default display order at user endpoints.
• General Announcement: General purpose announcements for end-users are displayed after logging into HyWorks. The display priority is lower than Maintenance announcements.
