View User details

Click the User Id to view detailed information about the user. The information displayed is based on the following actions:

  • Login Simulation.

  • Fetching user information and group membership from the AD.

  • Fetching user assignments.

The following information is displayed in a tabular form:

  • User Information: Displays user information with the following sub-sections:

    • User Information

      • User ID: Displays the login user id of user which is required for HyWorks login.

      • Display Name: Displays the name of user that is displayed. It is fetched from directory service.

      • First Name: Displays the first name of user which is fetched from directory service.

      • Last Name: Displays the last name of user which is fetched from directory service.

      • Email: Displays the Email address of user which is fetched from directory service.

      • Phone Number: Displays the phone number of user which is fetched from directory service.

      • First Logon time: Displays the Time when user was logged in for the first time in HyWorks.

    • Directory Service Details:

      • Authentication Server: Displays the configured server that is used to authenticate users.

      • Authorization Server: Displays the configured server that is used to configure and read the entitlements of users.

      • Domain: Displays the configured domain type that is used as authentication domain.

      • Distinguished Name (DN): Displays the distinguished name for user from authorization server.

      • Groups : Displays the list of groups from directory service which are assigned to user.

    • Last Login Details

      • Last Login Time: Displays the time along with date since user was logged in last time in HyWorks.

      • Last Login Duration: Displays the time duration when user was logged in last time in HyWorks.

      • Authentication Server: Displays the last login authentication server used when user was logged in last time in HyWorks.

      • Authorization Server: Displays the last login authorization server used when user was logged in last time in HyWorks.

      • Device Type: Displays the type of device on which user was logged in last time.

      • WAN IP Address: Displays the WAN IP address from a user was logged in last time.

  • User Desktops: Displays the list of desktops which will or may get assigned to the user. Details shown may be different for dedicated and Shared Hosted Desktops, as described below:

    • Dedicated Desktops

      • Pool Name: Name of the Desktop Pool from which the desktop is getting assigned.

      • Display Name: Display name of the Desktop Pool.

      • Virtualization Type: Desktop Pool type, for example, Shared hosted Desktop, Persistent Virtual Desktop or Non-persistent Virtual Desktop.

      • Desktop Name: Name of the desktop assigned to the user.

      • OS: Operating system of the desktop.

      • Desktop Provider: The Desktop Provider on which the desktop/VM is running.

      • IP address: IP address of the Desktop VM.

      • DNS Name: FQDN of the Desktop VM.

      • DVM Assignment: The assignment life span e.g. personal, floating.

      • DVM Persistence: The Desktop persistence definition as persistent or non-persistent.

      • Assigned from: How the Desktop VM will be getting assigned to the user (directly assigned to the user or assigned as a group/OU membership).

      • Applicable Profile and how is it getting assigned: Defines which connection profile will get applied when the user will connect to this desktop. If a connection profile is directly applied to the desktop pool, it will not show any inheritance information.

      • Power Status: Current power status of the desktop VM.

    • Shared Hosted Desktops

      • Pool Name: Displays the Name of the Desktop Pool from which the desktop is getting assigned.
      • Display Name: Display name of the Desktop Pool.
      • Virtualization Type: Displays the Desktop Pool type, for example, Shared hosted Desktop, Persistent Virtual Desktop or Non-persistent virtual Desktop.
      • Team Name: Displays the Session Host Team name that is being assigned.
      • Session Provider: Displays the Type of Session Provider.
      • Assigned from: Displays how the Shared Hosted Desktop is getting assigned to the user (directly assigned to the user or being assigned as a group/OU membership).
      • Applicable Profile and how is it getting assigned: Displays which connection profile will get applied when user will connect to this shared hosted desktop. If connection profile is directly applied to desktop pool, then it will not show any inheritance information.
      • Status: Displays the current the status of the Shared Hosted Desktop.
  • User Applications: Displays a list of the applications assigned to the user and details of the assigned application assignment.

    • Application assigned to User: Displays the List of the applications directly assigned to the user with the following details:

      • Application Name: Displays the name of the application.

      • Application Internal Name: Displays the internal name of the assigned application.

      • Launch Mode: Displays the launch mode of the application e.g. RemoteApp or Shell.

      • Applicable Profile: Displays the connection profile to be applied when the user accesses this application.

      • Description: Displays the description of the application.

    • Application assigned from Group: Displays the list of the applications assigned to the user from group memberships.

      • Application Name: Displays the name of the application.

      • Application Internal Name: Displays the internal name of the assigned application.

      • Group Name: Displays the name of the user groups that are getting entitlements for the user.

      • Launch Mode: Displays the launch mode of the application, for example, RemoteApp or Shell.

      • Applicable Profile: Displays the Connection Profile to be applied when user will access this application.

      • Description: Displays the Description of the application.

    • Application assigned from OU: Displays the list of application assigned to the user from the OU membership.

      • Application Name: Displays the name of the application.
      • Application Internal Name: Displays the Internal name of the assigned application.
      • OU Name: Displays the Name of the organizational unit that is getting entitlement for the user.
      • Launch Mode: Displays the Launch mode of the application, for example, RemoteApp or Shell.
      • Applicable Profile: Displays the Connection Profile to be applied when the user will access this application.
      • Description: Displays the Description of the application.
  • User Policy: Displays the Policies which will get applied to the user sessions:

    • User Applicable Profile: Displays the Applicable Connection Profile details:

      • Profile Name: Displays the Name of the Connection Profile.

      • Description: Displays the Description of the Connection Profile.

      • Assigned from: Displays How the Connection Profile is being assigned.

    • Session Timeout Policy:

      • On Client-Disconnect: Displays the action to be taken when the client disconnects. HyWorks can log out of the user session or can keep it disconnected.

      • Enable User Inactivity Monitoring: Displays if the applicable profile is monitoring the inactivity of the user. True/False.

      • Mark User Session Idle In: Displays if Enable User Inactivity Monitoring flag is true, this option defines the number of minutes of inactiveness after which the user session should be considered as idle.

      • Expire Idle Session In: Displays the number of minutes after which the idle session will expire.

      • On Expire: Displays the action to be taken at session expiry, disconnect the session or logout the session.

      • Set Max session Timeout: This option defines the maximum session timeout. True/False.

      • Force Terminate User Session In: This option defines the number of minutes after which the session will be terminated.

      • On Exceeding Max Session Timeout: This option defines the action to be taken after the max timeout limit has been reached. The user session can be logged out or disconnected.

      • Logoff Disconnected Sessions after: This option defines the number of minute after which the disconnected user session will be logged off.
