Log Archiving
HyWorks does not archive old logs but deletes them once the threshold is reached. The threshold for log is set in Settings > General > Advance Settings.
Change Threshold
By default, HyWorks keeps maximum of 500000 records in its log database and will delete logs once it reaches to set threshold.
Though it is recommended to keep a syslog server for log archiving, the threshold can still be changed as per your requirement as follows.
-
Log in to HyWorks Controller Management Console with super administrator credential.
-
Go to Settings > General > Advance Settings.
-
Click Edit in Log Remover Threshold.
-
Update the value as per your requirement e.g. 100000
-
Click Update.
