Authentication Site

The Authentication Site is the HySecure gateway cluster, enabling end users to authenticate in a multi-cluster scenario in which the authentication site and access sites are separate entities. On the other hand, the Access Site is the HySecure cluster that end users use to access applications after authenticating at the Authentication Site.

When an application is accessed from the access site, the token renewal process requires verification of the user session located on the authentication site. This field facilitates communication between the access and authentication sites for token renewal requests.

Log in to the HySecure Management Console and navigate to Settings > Service Config > Authentication Site.

For a single-cluster configuration in which the HySecure gateway serves as both the Access Site and the Authentication Site, the FQDN/IP and Port of the HySecure gateway must be provided.

In a multi-cluster setup where the Authentication Site and Access Sites are distinct, the FQDN/IP of the Authentication Site should be entered on the Access Site.
