Notification

Overview

HySecure provides support to configure notifications for different events on a per User / User Group basis. These notifications would go to all SOs (Security Officers) and administrator types of users. Additionally, email ids can be configured on a per-Notification Based Access Control policy to whom those notifications would be sent out.

Some of the events for which notifications can be configured include:

  1. User's First login

  2. User's every login

  3. Expiry of Access Control Policy

  4. User Account lockout

  5. New Device Registration

Configuration Workflow

This section describes the workflow for creating a "Notification" type of Access Control.

  1. Identify the User / User group for whom the Access Control needs to be implemented. The set of users will either be:

    1. part of an Authorization Server associated with an Authentication Domain, which is attached to a HySecure Domain, OR.

    2. part of a High / Low Security native User Group OR.

    3. a High / Low Security native User.

  2. Select the events for which notifications are to be generated.

  3. Configure the email address that need to be notified of these events, other than the SO and Administrator type of users.

  4. Configure the state for this Access Control.

Notification Based Access Controls Preferences

In case of multiple notification based Access Control policies, the first one that matches will be effective.
