About HySecure

Accops HySecure is a ZTNA gateway that provides secure access to applications and virtual desktops. It integrates access control and application management.

Accops HySecure is an essential Secure Access Gateway that :

  1. Allows trusted remote users to access any application securely over the internet, using protocols such as TLS 1.2 and 1.3 and strong, configurable ciphers.
  2. Supports granular access control at the application, user, and device levels, and various authentication mechanisms such as Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, or local authentication.
  3. Supports client-based application access when the user requires more control. The applications can also be accessed on remote devices such as iPads, Android phones, or iOS phones.
  4. Act as an IDP (Identity Provider) and interact with Service Providers using SAML to provide Single Sign-On with applications that are delivered as SaaS, like Office 365, Salesforce, etc. Alternatively, it can serve as an Identity Service Provider by hosting the applications mentioned above. In either case, an Accops proprietary solution, HyID, can be used for Multi-factor Authentication, with password authentication as one option and the other being FIDO token, Push notification, mobile token, SMS/E-mail token, biometric authentication such as fingerprint or facial authentication, etc.

HySecure Use Cases

Access to organization resources and applications

HySecure offers a core solution that enables remote users to securely access company resources, including applications, networks, VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), and hosted applications. Remote users must have internet access and a web browser. Network access can be granted to a subnet, a range of IP addresses, or a specific IP address.

This type of access can also be extended to vendors or employees who work from home.

Prevention of Data Leakage

HySecure can also ensure that users connecting to the network cannot print the screen, record desktop activity, or access the clipboard. These restrictions can be applied to selective users. It also allows the application of App Whitelisting rules and enables continuous monitoring by capturing the user's screen at default time intervals using Continuous Authentication and Reauthentication (CARTA). Endpoint security policies can also be set.

Access from Remote Device

Remote users can connect to the organization's resources using web-based portals, a client, or a hybrid portal. Supporting pure web-based portals for accessing the organization's resources helps provide seamless access for remote device users.

Restricted Internet for Remote users

HySecure can also configure remote users to force them to route all traffic through the HySecure Gateway. As a result, internet restrictions, blocking external connections, restricting login through an internet proxy, etc., can be applied, resulting in better user productivity.
