This document contains the release notes for HyWorks v4.1. This release includes new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve quality, reliability, and performance.

Upgrade Recommendations

Upgrade Compatibility: The v4.1 release is upgrade-compatible with HyWorks v3.6 or later.
Verify v4.1 in UAT environments first, then upgrade production for a smooth transition.

Module Compatibility

HyWorks v4.1 Controller is compatible with:

By default, it is compatible with older versions of desktop agents (HyWorks Desktop Agent and HyWorks Session Host Agents).
The following versions have been verified and found compatible:
- v4.0 Windows Virtual Desktop Modules (HyWorks DVM Tools, Session Host) and up to two previous GA releases
- v4.0 Linux package (Ubuntu Assistive package, Linux DVM Tools)
v4.0 SRMS, v4.0 VM Scale Booster, v4.0 Action Processor and Scheduler, v4.0 Policy Engine
