HyLabs Dashboard

The HyLabs dashboard is available to all types of HyLabs users, i.e., Reservation Admins, Incharges, Assistants, and participants, but the content is dynamically shown as per the logged-in user’s role.

Dashboard Contents for Reservation Admin

The HyLabs dashboard provides a summary of the HyLabs system. The following contents are displayed on the HyLabs dashboard:

  • System Summary: The following summary is displayed on the HyLabs dashboard:

  • Count of Gold Masters: Number of Gold Master VMs imported into HyWorks HyLabs for desktops’ deployment

    • Count of Gold Masters for Course: Number of Gold Master VMs assigned to the courses.

    • Count of Gold Masters for Self-study: Number of Gold Master VMs assigned for self-study.

    • Count of Gold Masters for Incharges: Number of Gold Master VMs assigned to incharges.

    • Total VMs: Total number of VMs deployed using HyLabs

    • Total number of Reservations. (Introduced in v4.1 release.)

    • Number of Course Reservations.

    • Number of Self-study Reservations.

    • Number of Course Self-study Reservations

    • Total Active VMs — Number of powered-on VMs. (Introduced in v4.1 release.)

    • Active VMs (Course) — Powered-on VMs for Course reservations. (Introduced in v4.1 release.)

    • Active VMs (Course Self-Study) — Powered-on VMs for Course SS reservations. (Introduced in v4.1 release.)

    • Active VMs (Self-Study) — Powered-on VMs for Self-Study reservations. (Introduced in v4.1 release.)

  • CSV Import Information: HyLabs has a CSV import feature that lets you run the entire HyLabs system. The CSV import feature ensures that all relevant data from CSV is imported automatically or manually from a predefined location. The section of the dashboard displays the CSV Import status and the last updated time.

  • Announcement Information: The announcement information section lists announcements created by administrators in HyLabs or HyWorks.
