This document contains the release notes for HyWorks v4.0. This release includes new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve quality, reliability, and performance.

Upgrade Recommendations:

Upgrade Compatibility: v4.0 release is upgrade compatible with the following HyWorks versions: v3.6 or later.

Test v4.0 first in UAT environments, then upgrade production for a smooth transition.

Documentation: Full v4.0 documentation is in progress and will be released shortly.

Module Compatibility:

New modules (Scheduler, Action Processor, VM Scale Booster) are not backward compatible and require the v4.0 Controller.

Older agent modules (HyWorks DVM Tools, Session Host, Linux DVM Tools) remain compatible with the v4.0 Controller.

Upcoming Releases: New versions of Windows DVM Tools and Windows Session Host with integrations to support HyWorks v4.0 features will be released soon.
