Without optimization, Teams audio/video runs inside the virtual desktop — consuming significant VDI CPU and RAM. Teams optimization offloads media processing to the physical endpoint, dramatically improving call quality and reducing server load.

Tip

Teams optimization requires the Accops Workspace client on the endpoint and the HyWorks DVM Tools plugin on the virtual desktop. Both must be at a matching version level.
