Add Active Directory to HySecure

Overview

Connect HySecure to the on-premises Active Directory so that domain users can authenticate and be mapped to access policies.

No Active Directory? No problem.

HySecure has its own internal user database. If the organisation does not have an AD, users can be created and managed directly in HySecure as native users — no external directory required.

Step 1 — Add Active Directory server

Step 2 — Create user security levels (optional — only if no AD)

HySecure uses Low Security and High Security user classifications to apply differentiated access policies.

Step 3 — Create admin roles (optional)

Set up Security Officer, Administrator, L1 Support, and Monitoring user roles for the management console.

Step 4 — Manage native users (optional — only if no AD)
