2.2 — Set Up HyWorks Controller

HyWorks is the VDI/SHD broker that manages virtual desktop pools, session hosts, and user entitlements.

Configuration sequence

1. Install HyWorks Controller
2. Integrate Active Directory
3. Add Hypervisor Connectors
4. Install Session Host Server (SHD)
5. Create VDI Master Image
6. Create Desktop Pools
7. Create Connection Profiles
8. Configure Entitlements

Follow the sequence — connectors must exist before pools can be created, and pools must exist before entitlements can be configured.
