Step 1.2 — Platform Preparation¶

Validate infrastructure prerequisites before beginning installation.

HySecure Gateway — Prerequisites¶

VM / bare-metal	4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB disk (production: 8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM)
OS	Accops HySecure appliance ISO (provided by Accops)
Network interfaces	Minimum 1 NIC; 2 NICs recommended (WAN + LAN)
Public IP / FQDN	One public IP with a valid FQDN and SSL certificate
Ports	443 inbound from internet; 38866 management; 22 SSH (internal)
DNS	A-record pointing FQDN → public IP before SSL issuance

CPU / RAM	4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM minimum; 8 vCPU / 16 GB for >200 desktops
Disk	100 GB (C:); separate volume recommended for DB
SQL	SQL Server 2016+ or SQL Express (bundled installer available)
Active Directory	Domain-joined; service account with domain read rights
Ports	443 (HTTPS), 38866 (agent), 3389 (RDP internal)
