Step 1 — Prepare CMS Server¶
Before any software can be deployed to end-user systems, the CMS server must be configured with the required packages, device groups, and deployment sequences. Complete the three sub-steps below in order.
Configuration scope¶

Note
All three sub-steps must be completed before proceeding to Step 2 — Deploy to End Systems. A device assigned to a group with no runbook configured will not receive any software.
