Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been fixed in the HyWorks v4.0 release:

64590	Explicit to show a warning while choosing HyPrep: "SID does not get changed in cloned VMs." This will help the admin choose a desktop customization method that fits the requirements.
64365	Session host servers became unreachable during deployment on Proxmox with the VIP feature enabled. Root cause: The IP address detection mechanism in Proxmox had limitations that caused connectivity issues. Fix: In v4.0, HyWorks has optimized the process to fetch all network information from VMs deployed on Proxmox and set up the correct IP address for communication.
64287	In one of the deployments, user log-out was not working, and user sessions were not getting cleaned. Root cause: The library file was replaced with a different component, affecting the user logout functionality. Fix: Fixed in v4.0, where all HyWorks modules will be using the same standard library file to avoid failures.
64050	Update Domain Credential action in fix desktop failed with unknown error (0x80005000). Fix: The update domain credential action now uses an improvised mechanism to address this issue.
63470	Published applications from Teams fail to auto-map to a newly added server when the old server is inactive, causing access failures until the mapping is manually re-saved. Fix: The issue has been fixed in this release. When a new server is added, existing app details will be available on it, and connecting to the new server will not cause any issues.
63211	RAM usage spike caused by EDCService on the HyWorks Controller server with Proxmox added as a connector. Fix: The issue has been integrated into this release of HyWorks v4.0.
62951	Correction in Japanese string for label "Capacity " in Deployment tab of Desktop Pool wizard. Fix: Fixed in this v4.0 release.
62813	Correction in Japanese string for label "Run As" in Application Add/Edit wizard. Fix: Fixed in this v4.0 release.
62649	On client login, errors were observed in logs as "System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): String or binary data would be truncated in table 'EDCDB_NAND_34.dbo.UserNotificationInfoDbo', column 'PhoneNo'. Truncated value: '123456789012345'. The statement has been terminated." Fix: The issue occurred because of an earlier character limit on the phone number field, which has been updated to resolve it.
62631	Incorrect Japanese Translation for “Select Image” in the Deployment tab of the pool wizard with Azure connector. Fix: Fixed in this v4.0 release.
62612	Incorrect Japanese translation for labels "Add Permission" wizard > User/group tab > Add Users/Groups or Remove Users/Groups. Fix: Correct Japanese strings are now integrated in the v4.0 release.
62296	Excessive growth of the TaskExecutionDBO table caused high disk usage. Fix: Optimizations have been made to handle this correctly.
62006	The maximum VM option disappears after adding a Gold master on the AVD Settings tab, when switching "Assign To" on the Usage tab in the Multi-Session Gold Master setup. Fix: The UI issue has been fixed in v4.0. Correctly reflecting the fields.
60230	Recomposition of the pool with 500 desktops failed with the Nutanix connector, and 497 VMs were deleted. Explanation: This was known behavior of HyWorks to delete the deployed VMs first and recreate them later as part of the recompose process. Improvisations: 1. HyWorks v4.0 has APIv4 integrations that support operations in batch and will improve the behavior. 2. Additionally, Stop Provisioning during recompose is also improved to stop pending recompose jobs and post-completing the jobs in progress.
60016	Corrupted characters appear when exporting Physical PC CSV data, and reimporting the same data displays errors. Fix: Behavior has been improved so that downloaded CSVs have English headers only.
59659	HyLabs High Availability configurations (in MMC - Web.config and RMS Service - EDC.RMSService.exe.config) reset after HyWorks Controller upgrade. Fix: The upgrade now handles the configurations and post-upgrade rewrites as read from the before file.
58917	After cloning a desktop pool with Prism Element and APIv2, the deployed VMs are not powered on, and Hyprep is not started. Fix: The API response from Nutanix changed, resulting in a state comparison failure and the issue. The changes are now handled.
56206	Redeployment didn't start according to the following schedule for the reservation, with Enable DVM Reset on Schedule End enabled and Reuse VMs for each run disabled, and Gold Master configured to use a snapshot for deployments. Fix: HyWorks v4.0 is having fix integrated for this issue.
54746	The self-study reservation disappears or becomes unusable after the user is removed from the course. Fix: The issue is fixed in this release.
30040	Self-study reservations were deployed sequentially, resulting in 50 minutes to deploy 50 self-study reservations. Fix: The issue was previously fixed in v3.6-SP1 hotfixes and has now been merged into v4.0 as well.
5433	Preserve MAC address support with recompose with SCVMM connector. Fix: This is included in v4.0 HyWorks, and the compatible Hyper-V connector will be released after this.
