Accops Workspace Feature Matrix¶
Feature availability across every Accops Workspace client, recorded from the HyWorks Controller perspective.
Accops Workspace is delivered as a family of clients — Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, Android, iOS and the browser-based HyLite — and they do not all implement the same set of features. This matrix records what each client supports, viewed from the HyWorks Controller side: for each setting an administrator can configure in the Controller console, it indicates whether the client honors that setting.
Use it to choose a client for a user group, confirm that a policy will take effect on the endpoints you have deployed, and find the settings that clients already in the field will silently ignore.
The Four Matrices¶

Installation, upgrade and uninstall behaviour, the client UI and system tray, redirection, session-host platform support, and power management.

How to read the matrix¶
Each matrix page is divided into the feature groups used in the Controller console.
Within a group, one row is one setting and one column is one client. Where a
setting has options or sub-options, the row name gives the full path, for example
Connection Type › Detect Automatically.

| Yes | The client supports the setting. |
| No | The client does not support it. A Controller policy that enables it has no effect on this client. |
| N/A | The setting does not apply to this client, most often because of how the client is installed. |
| – | The source workbook records no value. Treat this as unverified rather than unsupported. |
A superscript number beside Yes or No means the answer is conditional, and the condition is given in the notes at the foot of that page. Where a cell holds a literal value rather than an answer — an installation path, for example — the value is shown in monospace.
Finding a single setting
Search covers every row on every page, so searching for smart card, clipboard or seamless is usually quicker than browsing. Setting names are reproduced as they appear in the Controller console.
Scope and caveats¶

The matrix describes clients, not licenses. A Yes means the client implements the setting; whether it is available to you also depends on your HyWorks edition and licensing.

Support is recorded per client, not per client version. The source workbook carries no version number for either the Controller or the individual clients, so treat this as a snapshot of the releases current when it was compiled rather than as a per-version history.

A No against a mobile client is often a statement about the platform. Android and iOS are marked No for many endpoint-management and redirection settings that only make sense on a managed desktop endpoint.

HyLite runs in a browser, so anything that requires a local installation, local hardware, or a system tray is No for it by design.
